Google hires first Visual Design Lead

Love Google but think the it could use some help in the design department? Well, Google agrees as they have hired well known designer Doug Bowman of Stopdesign as their first Visual Design Lead. That wasn’t a typo – he is the first. Doug has re-designed sites like Wired, Lycos, Webmonkey and Blogger.com. It should be interesting to see what he can do for Google.
