Microsoft Surface at Sheraton New York

It was great to see and meet everyone who made it to the Microsoft Surface live demo at the Sheraton New York in Times Square. Microsoft brought 3 Surface demo machines loaded with all the software applications they have demo’d so was packed from open to close. My compliments and thanks to Microsoft and the Sheraton New York for a great event.

I am writing a full review of the technology that I will post in a few days.

When you write your demo, I’d be interested in the importance of music to the overall experience.

Music seems like it should be consumed in rooms or on portable devices, since it’s a personal thing. On the other hand, jukeboxes have always been around, so are people able to create a “vibe” with the music while they browse for places to go?

FYI, I’ve covered this on my own blog at, so I’d like to reference any review you do.
