Continuing with the automotive theme this morning I just saw this new site created by Evan Halshaw that is a fantastic trip down memory lane by creating an interactive documentation of all the James Bond’s cars. The interface is nothing more than to scroll which smoothly transitions between vector illustrations and animation all of James Bonds cars. In a time when we seem to be constantly trying to find ever more complex ways of displaying information the beauty of this site is in its simplicity and smooth performance. I also love how easily you can see which automotive designs have stood the test of time and which ones were momentary design trends that died a well deserved death. Check out the site here and see if you can keep from humming the 007 theme while you scroll through those iconic cars.
