After 199 Check-ins, 41 Photos, And 18 Badges I Quit Foursquare – Here’s Why

Nat Salvione, who works in business development for a startup called Tango Card, wrote an email to BusinessInsider.com explaining why he quit using Foursquare and is “loving it” for almost a year.Nat’s thoughts are interesting in part because Foursquare is going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment as last week research firm PrivCo made a stunning prediction that the startup will “fail” by the end of 2013. Design Trends 2013 – Flat And Minimal

One of the new trends in terms of digital design, especially interface design, is the return of simple, flat and typographical design. We can say that Microsoft might have started that back in 2007 when they launched the Zune with its beautiful typographic based interface. Despite the failure of the product, that UI was improved and applied to the Windows Phone and Windows 8 interface design. More and more apps for all platforms adopting a more minimalistic approach.
