Terrapin Stationers

This video premiered at this year’s 99u, featuring Terrapin Stationers. Operating for nearly a century, this printing house has kept up with the times by adding a contemporary element to their business with some catchy—and possibly offensive—stationery. Still using traditional techniques, with a focus on hand-crafted quality, Terrapin offers beautiful engraved stationery with some very unique messaging. Watch the video here.

Apple CEO Tim Cook on Career Planning

Apple CEO Tim Cook returned to Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business to give a candid interview about his career. The result is an unguarded Cook dropping tons of insights for anyone navigating our rapidly changing business climate. This is my favorite video where Cook talks about about it takes to be a great collaborator. Watch the video here or watch the entire series of 7 videos here.

Designing for Breakpoints

What happens between the breakpoints of a responsive design is just as important as the breakpoints themselves—perhaps even more so. You have to start somewhere in this process which reminds me of storyboarding, or creating animation keyframes, with the in-between frames being developed later.
